In my art I like to explore themes that bring people closer together by communicating common ideas and experiences. Most communication is non-verbal and this holds true with what we experience when engaging in art. I will most commonly use raw, unaltered materials like glass, wood, metal, and found objects. My art has a real clean, polished feel, due mostly to my education in design and influences from Japanese design and the Bauhaus period. It most likely has nothing at all to do with my obsessive nature to have everything in its place, clean, and in order.
